  • The aim is to reach a broad or specific audience, depending on the nature of the job.

Application and Selection Process

  • Applicants may apply through an application form, a CV, or sometimes both. This provides employers with the necessary information about the candidates.
  • The selection process involves sifting, interviewing, and deciding which candidate is most suitable to fill the vacancy.

Job Offer and Induction

  • Upon selection, the candidate is made a job offer with details about the salary, working hours, start date, and other terms and conditions of employment.
  • An induction programme is organised for the new recruit to make them familiar with the workplace, colleagues, and the company policies.
