Understanding ‘Benim Derslerim’ (My Studies)

General Concepts

• Derslerin neler? (What are your subjects?) – Be ready to discuss the subjects you are studying at school.
• En sevdiğin ve en sevmediğin dersler. (Your favourite and least favourite subjects) – Talk about subjects that you particularly enjoy or do not like, and be able to explain why.
• Derslerinde hangi etkinlikleri yapıyorsun? (What activities do you do in your classes?) - Describe the typical activities in your lessons.
• Derslerin kolay mı, zor mu? (Are your lessons easy or difficult?) – Share your thoughts on the level of difficulty of your classes.

Layout and Schedule

• Okul programın nasıl? (What’s your school timetable like?) - Give details of your school day routine.
• Farklı günlerde farklı derslerin var mı? (Do you have different subjects on different days?) - Discuss whether or not your lessons change daily.
• Öğle yemeği için ne zaman molası veriyorsun? (When do you break for lunch?) – Give details on lunch hour and rest breaks.

Homework and Exams

• Ödevlerin ne kadar zaman alıyor? (How much time do your homework take?) - Discuss the time spent on homework.
• Hangi derslerde sınavlar var / yok? (Which subjects have exams/don’t have exams?) - Describe which subjects have exams and which ones don’t.
• Sınavlarda başarılı mısın yoksa zorlanıyor musun? (Are you successful in exams or do you struggle?) – Share your experiences and performance in exams.

Future Plans Regarding Studies

• Hangi derslerin gelecek planlarında önemli? (Which subjects are important for your future plans?) - Talk about the relevant subjects for your future career or study plans.
• Gelecekte hangi dersleri daha fazla çalışmayı planlıyorsun? (Which subjects do you plan to focus on more in the future?) – Indicate the subjects you intend to prioritize in the future.
• Üniversite ya da iş için hangi derslerin daha yararlı olacağını düşünüyorsun? (What subjects do you think will be more useful for university or work?) – Share your views on the subjects of relevance to your future academic or career path.

Expressing Opinions

• Hangi dersleri neden seviyorsun ya da sevmiyorsun. (Why do you like or dislike certain subjects) – Express your likes and dislikes and be ready to justify your opinions.
• Okulda hangi derslerin geliştirilmesi gerektiğini düşünüyorsun? (Which subjects do you think need improvement at school?) – Share your thoughts on areas of improvement in your education and explain why.
• Hangi derslerin daha fazla destek/yardımcı materyal gerektiğini düşünüyorsun? (What subjects do you think need more support/learning resources?) – Express your views on subjects that require additional help or resources.
