Appositives

An appositive is a word or phrase made of a noun or pronoun and its modifiers.
It’s placed directly next to another noun or pronoun it’s describing.
The purpose of an appositive is to provide more information about a noun in a sentence.
Appositives should be enclosed in commas.
Example of an appositive: Bill, the computer scientist, worked from home every Thursday.
