Writing in a variety of styles and contexts (e.g. letters, essays, and articles)

Letters

  • Understand the structure and conventions of letters in Bangla, including correct use of formal and informal language.
  • Familiarise yourself with phraseology and common expressions used in letter writing.
  • Start by identifying who you are writing to. This will dictate the tone and style you use.

Articles

  • Articles should be interesting and engaging. Understand the need for imaginative and creative writing.
  • Identify the audience and purpose of the article; this should guide the content and style of writing.
