School Environment

  • Understand vocabulary related to schools’ physical structures, such as classrooms, libraries, lunchrooms, playgrounds, and so on.

  • Get used to the Polish terms for school letters, notices, and announcements - they often come up in listening exercises.

  • Be comfortable with words related to school rules and regulations. You may hear a conversational piece about dress codes, code of conduct, or disciplinary measures.

  • Build familiarity with school subjects and their associated words in Polish. This could range from Maths and Science to History, Art, or PE.

School Activities

  • Learn language associated with extra-curricular activities, clubs, or school teams, such as different sports, drama club, or chess club.

  • Polish words and phrases related to school events such as school fairs, concerts, sports days, or trips, could also be part of the listening material.

  • Understand the language about issues affecting schools, such as bullying, peer pressure, mental health, or academic stress.

  • Learn about Polish phrases and terms related to educational policies, particularly around key educational stages or special educational needs.
