Delivering Session Introduction

- Use incremental demonstrations for complex activities, breaking down into simpler steps that can be easily followed.
Motivation and Encouragement
- Be positive and supportive in interactions with participants, this keeps them motivated and engaged.
- Apply constructive criticism, coupled with suggestions for improvement.
- Always try to highlight achievements, however minor they might be, to boost participant’s self-esteem and motivation.
Management of Activities
- Organise activities in a way that maximises participation and maintains the interest of the participants.
- Ensure that every participant gets an equal opportunity to participate in all activities.
- Be alert to the dynamics of the group, and intervene to maintain harmony and mutual respect between participants if necessary.
Safety and Risk Management
- Monitor all activities closely and check regularly for any potential safety risks.
- Apply the Emergency Action Plan if any unexpected incidents or injuries occur.
- Insist on proper use of equipment to avoid any injuries.
Incorporating Feedback and Adjustments
- Be open to receiving feedback from participants, and adjust your approach as required.

- Always conclude the session with a summary of what was learned, and how it applies to future sessions or general progress.
- Provide opportunities for questions and answers, to clarify any doubts participants might have.
- Give clear instructions for next steps, including any prep or follow up required before the next session.
- Show appreciation for participants’ efforts, and motivate them for the next session.
