Education

Familiarise yourself with basic education terms such as school (مدرسة), university (جامعة), subjects (مواد), homework (واجب منزلي), etc.
Develop proficiency in discussing your school experience, like “I attend X school” (أدرس في مدرسة…), “My favourite subject is…” (مادتي المفضلة هي…).
Improve your vocabulary on discussing school environments, school facilities, teachers, and schoolmates.
Prepare to elaborate on your academic strengths and areas of improvement. Don’t shy away from expressing preference towards certain subjects, like “I excel at maths” (أنا متفوق في الرياضيات), or “I struggle with science” (أجد صعوبة في العلوم).
Be ready to discuss future education plans, such as desired university or field of study.

Employment

Understand essential employment-related terms, like job (وظيفة), full-time (دوام كامل), part-time (دوام جزئي), salary (راتب), etc.
Build sentences around your future career aspirations, such as “I aspire to be a…” (أطمح لأن أكون…), “I am interested in…” (أنا مهتم ب…).
Be confident in discussing employment environments you might prefer. For instance, you could say, “I would enjoy working in an office” (سأستمتع بالعمل في مكتب), or “I would not enjoy working outdoors” (لن أستمتع بالعمل في الهواء الطلق).
Prepare to talk about the skills you have or want to develop that would be useful in a job. For example, “I am a good communicator” (أنا بارع في التواصل) or “I want to improve my leadership skills” (أريد تحسين مهارات القيادة لدي).
Reflect on work values and ethics, i.e., punctuality, teamwork, initiative, and attention to detail.
