Acids, Bases and pH: Titration Calculations
Acids, Bases and pH: Titration Calculations
- Calculate the moles of reactant 1 using its known volume and concentration.
- Find the ratio of moles for reactants 1 and 2 using the balanced equation and calculate the moles for reactant 2.
- Calculate the concentration of reactant 2 using its moles and volume.
- Refer to the “Amount of Substance” topic for key equations for titration calculations.
- Volumes should be in dm³ for accurate moles calculation; convert from cm³ by dividing by 1000.
