The mole is a ‘threshold concept’ in A Level Chemistry
A mole represents 6.023 x 10^23 particles (electrons, atoms, ions, molecules)
This number is known as Avogadro’s constant
Moles help in comparing different substances and relating their masses, volumes, and concentrations to the number of particles.
