Endocrine System
- This system comprises of glands that secrete hormones directly into the bloodstream.
- These hormones can influence our mood, metabolism, growth and development.

- High levels of cortisol over a prolonged period can lead to anxiety and depression.
Adrenaline
- It prepares the body for ‘fight or flight’ response. This hormone increases heart rate, blood pressure and boosts energy supplies.
Testosterone
- Found in both sexes, but men have higher levels. It’s related to aggression, sexual drive, dominance, and physical strength.
Estrogen and Progesterone
