- For kayaking, practise paddling techniques like forward stroke, reverse stroke, and sweep stroke for effective manoeuvring.
- In the case of scuba diving, learn and practise communication signals, equipment setup, and underwater navigation.
- For paddle boarding, refine balance and paddle stroke techniques to effectively propel and steer the board.
Equipment Familiarity
- Understand the importance of appropriate use of equipment. For example, how to correctly wear flotation devices or harnesses.
- Learn how to properly use and maintain safety equipment such as personal flotation devices, helmets, and first aid kits.
- Demonstrate ability to inspect equipment for any wear and tear before each use to ensure safety.
